I think you did not understand Trump. He says tariff are morr worth because tariffs will strenghten usd in the long run. This whole thing will have an effect on inflation. How much is uncertain for FED uncertain too.

USA have made an agreement with Japan. Now there are messages indicating similar deal with EU. maybe markets will react different. Maybe they will recognize the strength of USA by buyin dollars
