Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013OK. After waiting on hold for over twenty minutes with MB today trying to find out what is holding up my clearance to deposit I am just going to do the new model account with Oanda. I had high hopes for MB but this kind of customer service won't ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013This move really smells like a CB thing. It is all dollar selling. EJ went up but never even broke the current day high. UJ is in the basement. All dollar selling. Dow and ES are both down a little so not selling dollars to buy securities. Only ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013The next weekly high is up at 1.32. I would probably take a stab at that if we get there today.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013The pattern that I am beginning to see with the option defense is the winning side that builds up all the positions tends to get its stops run after Ten. The losing side gets the profit from their buys (in this case) by pushing through the stops on ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013Bid never touched 3150 before the cut on my feed. Looks like the defense was successful. Stops being taken out now.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013Unusual move given the lack of news. It looks a lot like a CB move only a little slower. Luckily I had made my trades early today and was all out.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013Good morning: I am watching with interest the 3150 for NY cut. Got any idea the size of the option today. It sure as hell was a determined push up here.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013Currency contracts are only for the day. At 17:00 NY (10PM London) all open currency contracts are rolled over to the next day. This is why we get paid or charged interest on open positions. Many business contracts are stipulated based on the ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013I am looking more at the market closes lately. The daily open trigger really works best as an entry trigger into a trending market. Right now we are not trending so the fades of high low and closes work best.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013You guys have to get up a little earlier over there in the UK. Most of the best action is going to be around 5;00 or 6:00 AM for you. The best trade of the day was a sell at the Monday high but you had to be out of bed by six AM to catch it. If I ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013Why did you not sell the previous day high? It was the first level hit and a beautiful drive up on news. Perfect conditions to get a great reversal or a clean break with retest.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 30, 2013Market opens are the hot spots for filling orders. Dumb money can often be enticed to enter into the market in the wrong direction with the open and its range. You will often see Frankfurt open and drive hard in one direction to a level then ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 29, 2013Use the ema reading to get your stop. Right now the ema for EJ is 1.5251. 152.5 pips is the five day average. Twenty percent is 35 pips plus the spread, so my stop would be 35 to 38 pips. Size the position accordingly.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 29, 2013All those contests do is encourage horrible money management and high risk. Let them have a contest over five years and see who is left. Then you will know who can trade.
