k filled on part @ 1315.8 for 50 ticks or so, nice break of resistance about 80 ticks or so on the last half...the higher low there in the yellow box was a sign we were headed up...

They are range/renko bars, just for intraday entries/exits and some scalps like this short, entry comes on close of bar...exit is the same either target hit or reversal bar in overbought/sold territory...they show price patterns very well don't you ...

Here's one way I like to use an oscillator in a strong trend like this in gold...you can measure how much higher in price (in uptrend) from one cycle low to the next...Keep in mind a cycle low is only valid if it makes a new high after...at some ...
