You wouldn't have access to track the whole market obviously... but if you have a direct line with a bank then it might be possible but only from that liquidity provider. If its a reliable one then it might be ok but if not then tick volume will do ...

There probably is but you'd have to pay alot or have a high account min. You can use tick values as volume and still have some understanding what SM is doing at the time.

I know that US also has the M2M accounting rule that was even relaxed... it allows the banks/brokers to pull profit numbers out of their ass aswell as margin levels to give to clients to trade.

Maybe but remember that retail is still short that pair... its not about to fall off of a cliff.. its probably the best performing if there is a mini bull run here. If you are short AU you should be short something else.
