Yup on a bar size of 52 my SL is something like 1.5484 and it entered short... the EA actually didn't work for me so I'm just eying it for now. Would have been good to release the source instead of an EX4... oh well I'll have to decompile it.

I think you have to average your R:R just like you average your win percentage... then use your in sample test and forward test it on out of sample data... the parameters that will win are the ones who have the highest PF between the in/out sample. ...

Yes but you can apply the same rules to get your PF from live trading... if your live trading and backtest results match.. then you have a good indication of where you stand.
