I dont think so,... nothing really special about it. Many traders who use stop losses are putting their SL to BE once they consider it as far enough from current price, whatever that means depending on their trading style.

It means I have set my stop loss to my entry price, effectively eliminating all risk from that individual trade...

Yeah your right. Pinpointing the m1 chart during asian session... and then even against the trend is not smart. Switched to watching the m5 more now. Makes it more clear and made some losses back on that nice drop just now.
