I had a short from today's high too, but closed early for 20 pips. Missed the re rentry with tight stop when it bounced from 1.0422 to 1.0435.

Out of many scenarios 1 is 1.0435 could become resistance if so maybe 1.0435 to 1.0335

Have you checked USDCAD? It might go up and try to fill the wick could be upto 50% which would be 1.44000 level

1 scenario I see is DXY hitting that 107.50 level and bouncing back, and looking at the daily candle it could try to fill the wick and potentially make a big wick green candle. Just a thought!

I like your method of pending orders instead of manually executing. Lots of things can happen when executing the trade, hesitation, missing, late entry, fear of loss etc also if there are more than one trade setups, which can't be executed manually.

The beauty of trading at key levels is SL can be moved to break even after sometime and the risk becomes zero. I had a pending short at 1.0435 but was hesitant. It was triggered in the simulated account though.
