zoopy replied Jun 6, 2008audusd: 4 hour analysis process — Figured I'd post this as an "example" of how I analyze the waves. On Jun 4, 2008 8:05am I posted the following charts in the "Trading Aussie Jacko Style" thread and my views for the pair based on the wave ...

zoopy replied Jun 6, 2008Follow up on post#1054 — Following up on post#1054, price has started to show signs of turning around. Because momentum has picked up, I would probably send in my scout placing my stops at my previous wave's high (see post#1054). Then... at ...

zoopy replied Jun 6, 2008Example of stop placements — Here is an example of how stops are managed. On the eurchf 4 hour we have a very big wave which collapsed to the downside. When price starts turning around (I would prefer it to dip a lot more than it's doing now, ...

zoopy replied Jun 6, 2008Hi Goon On the chart that I posted I would want my stop at the bottom of the previous wave which would be around 0.9495. You could use 0.9525 but there's a greater chance of being spiked out since that's the current wave. Think of the market ...

zoopy replied Jun 5, 2008Ok, just wondered about that because I'm thinking about using a similar approach with my wave trading. If you're not using a stop, how are you calculating each position size? 1% based on a 200 pip stop or...?

zoopy replied Jun 5, 2008Not sure if you mentioned this and you probably have before. Do you use stops or pull the trade manually based on what you see? I can see where you're going with the long bars or PA towards the 5EMA as well. Makes a lot of sense because price will ...

zoopy replied Jun 5, 2008An example — Here is an example of what I will be looking for in the future. Earlier in the week, the aussie 4 hour broke a wave to the upside. The movement up and the pullback has been highlighted using yellow lines. What I will then be ...

zoopy replied Jun 5, 2008lol. Right now I'm only trading eurusd but messing around with waves on other pairs. Figured after today's insane movement on euro, one of those pairs had to be a good TT5 setup. Can you believe eurusd moved 233 pips today?

zoopy replied Jun 5, 2008lol. I was joking about euro moving more than gj but when I went to calculate it, I found out it actually DID move more. One thing's for sure, never say never with this euro. Every time you say that, it goes ahead and does it.

zoopy replied Jun 5, 2008oil 4 hour wave — Will be interesting to see where oil turns up tomorrow. We've created a very big wave going up. It's still currently in sell mode but if we break the previous wave's peak, oil is back in buy mode.

zoopy replied Jun 5, 2008The move itself didn't surprise me. I already knew something was hiding behind 1.5400 when price hit 1.5420. What surprised me was the SIZE of the move. A year ago euro was moving around maybe 80-90 pips a day. Today alone we made a move of 200 ...
