I know what you mean Steve but I'm up £28 in 4 hrs, if this turned out to be typical you've got to admit that this would a pretty good return on the cost price of the bot. :>))))

I've not noticed anything but there again I have not compared like with like, as Ob2 says live and demo accounts are quite different price feeds so the sixth levels will be different. For me Beastie (CT only) keeps chugging along bringing in the ...

Thanks Steve, I'm also thinking that TOB is the way to go, I've been trading Beastie live successfully but only the CT part, which is in effect TOB, so I'll download the latest TOB with ChaserL's mod and swap over sometime next week when Beastie's ...

As the CT side of Beastie is derived from TOB, just wondering if the missing conditional in the order send process bug referred to on the TOB thread is also applicable to Beastie.

Convergence Filter — Steve, I'm trying to learn some coding so that eventually I'll hopefully be able to make a more posative contribution to FF. I'm interested in the convergence filter in the TT part of Beastie and I believe that the ...

SteveHopwood "there is yet to even be a guarantee that the trend-trading stuff has a future." In my opinion the Bob/Steve trend trading EA has a good future if its current performance is typical, I'll post evidence to back my opinion at the end of ...

On the basis of a very short term test (latest bot from this weekend), it seems to work OK to me ( mechanically that is, I'm not commenting on the trading strategy yet). Quite a few trades have been inhibited by Steve not allowing trades when the ...

Steve, I've noticed that quite a few trades run well past the TMA outer take profit lines, would you consider adding a facility to close a user specified part of the trade at the lines allowing the balance to run on for possible extra profits until ...

Yes Inq., that's how I see it, it would be more reassuring to be able to check the TMA stop while the trade is open.

When using "Use TMA to set stoploss" is there any way of checking that the stoploss has actually been set? I ask this because the value shown (correctly) on the chart and in the order pane is the visual stoploss

Steve, while you are altering the bot for manual/auto trading would it be possible to make the dark blue line, (240 smoothed in Bob's system and I assume hard coded in the bot), a user setting for MA value and type, this would enable me to test out ...

Rofleus thats very interesting, the second set of parameters gave a better result and a smoother curve, but I guess that you altered the code to run these tests, so not available to most of us unless Steve could make this a user input.

Thanks for running the test Pippo, nice results, I can see that you like the D1 timeframe! In round figures about 17 trades p.a. giving a profit of 8k p.a., definitely not to be sniffed at.

Steve, on each chart the values displayed on the screen for "CCI 1 candle ago" and "CCI 2 candles ago" are exactly the same, is this OK?
