Bleek replied Dec 19, 2011That caught my eye, what problem do you have with it as it seems simple enough and works foe me?
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Dec 11, 2011It says $1,000, so that's more like £650 i.e. very close to the magic £500 number that many other brokers require.

Bleek replied Dec 5, 2011You're right, I didn't check daily before, just 4H, 1H, 30m, 15m and 1m. Daily takes roughly a minute whereas anything less is literally 2 seconds.
LMAX = revolution?!?

Bleek replied Dec 5, 2011I'm not sure it's their problem, I have a lot of applications running on my system and even so changing chart times in MC takes a matter of seconds for me!
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Dec 2, 2011I don't currently use it but I just logged in and the 5m EURUSD is fine, no issues with data. I can check more later when I get time.

Bleek replied Nov 29, 2011Alpari and the like can get around international border laws and issues because they operate in multiple countries and so bypass certain legislation, LMAX is a UK based and UK regulated business so they have to play by UK law alone. It's a shame ...

Bleek replied Nov 29, 2011The Multichart issues have gone? I might start using it tomorrow then, the only function I like is the facility to move your STOP in stages without using an arbitrary trailing STOP.

Bleek replied Nov 29, 2011Excellent idea especially for those of us trading larger positions.
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 29, 2011Jim, I've placed over 500 trades with LMAX and not once failed to fill a full lot, why would I need minis, how many professional traders do you see using mini lots? None. And you know why, because we can't make a living wasting our time with mini ...
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 29, 2011I take issue with this, it has no bearing on your position 'accuracy' at all? I'd prefer they left the 'mini' lots and accounts to the bucket shops and look to continue and improve the current service to full lot traders.

Bleek replied Nov 22, 2011Invalid in relation to LMAX directly or trading in general, are you suggesting that no other broker has liquidity issues filling all Stops? Trust me I know how much that costs me, I traded many mil on Currenex so even fractal slips cost me $100's ...

Bleek replied Nov 21, 2011Let's just get a few things clear here, I've been trading Forex for over 5 years now, I've made a sizeable income doing so, the list of brokers I have 'tried and tested' is rather large including most of the top Currenex and some institutional ...
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 21, 2011Care to elaborate? I don't stress test; I trade daily for a living and for me personally consistent fill of large volumes is far more important than anything else.
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 21, 2011It must be client side because in the past years' trading I've literally never had an issue with LMAX. I can't say the same of any other broker.
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 17, 2011Agreed - you really need to forward that comparison on so they can see the issue first hand!
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 16, 2011I think as always I'll avoid all these fancy toys and just use the web platform, which has to be said is instantaneous for executions!
LMAX = revolution?!?

Bleek replied Nov 15, 2011Make sure you have the latest app, on the login screen there's a button to save your credentials.
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 15, 2011Thank you, I'm glad you found value in it and weren't just another looking for specific trade methods (freebies) - that was never my plan.
LMAX = revolution?!?
-
Bleek replied Nov 15, 2011Same, I tried it out (numerous brokers) to see what all the fuss was... it appears I'm living on a different planet because I found it rather shite, slow and clunky.
