I guess he does not uses cci , he uses stochastic only for divergence and exit. You can use any indicator if you really know how to use that , i mean you know when it works and how , and when it does not.

i think you just missed it by few pips , if you put s/l below previous low , it was just 2-3 pips more , when i enter on retest of s/r i usually try to put stop above previous high/low
