EURUSD - H1 Wolfe Wave maybe setting up so one to track Price currently approaching at least 2 support areas in terms of the signal bar high from the 15th (see large elipse) and a bull trend line throughout the chart. The rectangle shows price ...

I doubt it. As more of a price action trader I do trade wedges, but before reading Grimweasel's post above, I would not have classed them strictly as Wolfe Waves. However, I bow to his greater experience at trading Wolfe Waves.

Please see Grimweasel's post 632 above for an excellent description of how wedges function and how he views them as Wolfe waves. I do enjoy your posts though - they make me smile

Hi L.m, Thank you for your feedback. No offence has been taken. Just to clarify a couple of points.....I do look at Wolfe Waves and use them to look for reversal trades and I use a Fib tool sometimes to look for Leg 1 =Leg 2 moves. I have posted ...

Open post to all readers, If I have in any way mislead you with any of the pattern I have posted then for that I apologise. Bill Wolfe prints many patterns in his book and many of them are not the perfect pattern with the leg1= leg2 and some of the ...

LDFX, It sounds like you are looking for a fight! 'Noise' to me is generally what people call price movements when they can see no reason for what is going on so if you were referring to noise as a comparison to the prior wave then fine - it is not ...

As I said above, I have conceded that you are correct. I do disagree about your 'noise' comment as I don't think that the market makes noise. There is generally a reason for price movements even if we don't understand what those reasons are - just ...

LDFX, Please point out, in the Wolfe Wave I posted above (Post 601), what you feel is wrong with it and let's have a constructive discussion. I am perfectly happy to admit I am wrong if it transpires that I am. Many thanks Edit: Actually, I do ...

So in Bill Wolfe's book where he outlines 'The Perfect Wave' - where is the new high made at the target price? image I am certainly not attempting to mislead anyone. I make it quite clear that my aim is to spot the WW and look for a number of ...

So to carry on from my original charts, we have a number of good reasons to enter this reversal and trade the Wolfe Wave. The bulls showed the ability to string 3 decent sized bars together whilst breaking the trend line. The bears met support and ...

Hi, I'm not sure if your post was directed at me (?) but I am assuming it was. I, too, came across the WW pattern years ago and find it interesting - I don't trade it, but generally look at the target line as a guide as to where the market may be ...

Here are a few charts which will help to explain a Wolfe Wave which happens to be part of a trading idea. The first chart is a H1 of EURUSD. We can see the trend line from the 9th was broken on the 29th. We would usually expect a test of the trend ...

Hi. In the politest possible way, it would be a real shame if the language on this thread deteriorated. I would certainly appreciate it if you respect everyone reading this thread and keep it reasonably professional. Many thanks

Hi Parviz, OK the mathematical rationale for a 50% retracement is very simple, but I shall go into a little more detail. Risk, reward and PROBABILITY. In order for a trade to make mathematical sense the following must be true: P(Success)*Reward - ...

Folks, Perfect patterns are hard to come by. In general with trading, close is close enough. There are many occasions in Bill Wolfe's book where he fudges the start point of the pattern to fit by placing it horizontal to point 3 when it actually has ...
