Traderone: Why did you change the triggers and the stop loss levels from the original kamanda? Also, I guess you do not double-up and reverse on a stop-loss?

Kamanda claimed to have made a million with this technique..( peaks everyones interest), however, he would double up and reverse if his stop was hit. Wonder what his results would be without doing that..

Kamanda uses 55L and 35S for his trigger on the daily's for Cable with reported excellent results. His SL I believe is 75 and 55 respectively. Perhaps a similar ratio on the weekly's would help the short side. I think your 61 is very close on the ...

Great Post Permanentjaun! Maybe I am missing something here but how would you know if the week is down or up before you place your weekly trades?

Interesting... So of course trigger, TP and SL all adjusted. On 1st glance, 150-200 pip trigger, SL and TP seems about right.

kamanda - about 2-3 times a month this happens? I am wondering if u didn't do this double-up and reverse strategy (may be too risky for me) and just took your losses on those days - what do u think this would do to your average monthly pip average?

- PipBird replied Oct 31, 2006
Takes stones to do that kamanda - 55 pip loss then immediately double-up to make 55. How often do u have to do this where u hit your stop and then double up?

Kamanda - Do u close yesterday's trade at 5:00 the next day and open 2 new entry straddle orders even if you are negative for the day, or do u keep the trade open until it is profitable?

Interesting kamanda - So I guess you keep your position open until 50 pip profit or stop loss is hit or do u use a trailing stop? If u keep the position open, do u place another 2 straddle orders the next day at 5 est?
