Sorry for this somehow off-topic post. I haven't been paying much attention to the forum for some weeks now, and return to find out that many prople are doing great, read the wonderful james' thread, and keep reading about the MB (MuddBuddha?) ...

If I am not mistaken, what happens when you buy/sell currency is that your broker "lends" you money so that you can buy other currency with it. For example, let's say you buy 1 mini lot (10,000 units) EUR/USD. In this case the broker lends you about ...

Well, that's more confirmation that they DO manipulate prices. The same thing happened on August 6th during the non-farm payroll announcement. FXCM was the only broker I saw that showed a 30 pip spike DOWN before going 200 up. I assume they are ...
Broker Price Manipulation?

Hi Will. I really don't understand how it is a good thing that FXCM records a drop that other brokers don't. If you had done a straddle trade through FXCM, this drop would have filled a short trade which would have clearly ended as a massive loss ...

FXCM Stop Hunting? — I was watching the FXCM prices on Friday (although I don't trade with them) and noticed that EUR/USD actually FELL 30 pips upon news before skyrocketing. I didn't see this spike down in other brokers' price feed. Can ...
