Agree, if any of you guys have experience with trading gold, your advice would be much appreciated (movement, best times to trade, does it respect pivots, timeframe (M1?))

I know China is supposed to be protecting a no touch option at 1.4450, but the info I'm reading says the payout is ONLY 16M euro. To me that almost sounds like BAIT. 16M is nothing to China, actually to most major players in forex. Just my ...

True, it's rare, but you can see it happen. And last year when hurricane Ike hit (over the weekend), I changed my position on Saturday (using Oanda) from short to long. Didn't matter much, would have made money either way.

This comes up every single Sunday. Just because your broker is closed, does not mean the markets are closed. On Oanda, I can trade all day saturday and sunday if i want, spreads are 10 pips on EUR/USD, but I can open and close orders. This site ...

You got that right... we're all looking for the "edge". Having an edge is the only way you'll make money in this game. Follwing someone's post from an hour ago, does NOT give you an edge.... On the other hand, looks at the bottom of the screen, 48 ...

Sorry if I took your post the wrong way... You look like an "up and comer" and I have read your posts, and pretty much agreed with your thoughts.. I'm not right, you're not right, but we both will be right over any given timeframe....

It's funny you say that...to me, and i might be wrong. Hedge funds are NEW to forex. So I personally believe that is why we have the 90% retraces. They are the only ones to "save" bad trades. They are the ones that are making the market move. So ...

Glad to hear it. I can't imagine trading any other way than the 1M. To me, that is where the action is, that is where you can see where it is going.

I have no problem at all trading the 1M chart. I know I'm going to get bashed here for trading that timeframe, but I can't possibly see how anyone can trade a higher timeframe. I do just fine, trust me, but I do keep an eye to the fundamentals, and ...
