I'm using the "MACD with Signal Only" indicator that you posted on the last page. It wasn't just the MACD that was above the 15 line, all of my indicators (red, white, blue, gold) were hovering around the 17 - 18 area. I'm not worried about it. For ...

I'm shorting the EUR/AUD (got a nice signal and its bouncing off the +150 line). I'm not taking USD/CAD since it's not in my list of currencies that I set out to test. Lastly, I'm not seeing a signal on the AUD/USD (my indicators are still above the ...

It might help if I include the indicator! The default MA's are 23 & 50, for the above picture I changed them to 12 & 26. According to my reading, you can use this indicator in both timeframes.

STC Indicator — Bob, have you ever looked at the Schaff Trend Cycle indicator? This may help you with your MACD issues. I'm not real familiar with it so I've included a pdf which describes the indicator. I've also included a picture of your ...

All of mine are down as well. The Sell EA never entered me into the GBP/CHF so I was able to cancel that one unharmed - it's a little tough for me to follow these trades because I'm at work 12 hours a day but every couple of hours I'm able to take a ...

I exited CHF/JPY tonight with 100 pip profit! For tonight I'm short USD/JPY, GBP/JPY, USD/CHF, EUR/CHF, GBP/CHF and I'm long NZD/USD. One thing I noticed is that the regular MACD gold line is less volatile than your original MACD with Histogram gold ...

I reviewed your trades and am glad to see that I'm taking the same ones as you. I was confused at first because I was trading the 4H method but I was exiting my trades at the end of the day (based on the daily method). Now I realize that I can let ...

Pairs — I remember reading that you trade approximately 15 pairs. I could only find 14 throughout the thread - aside from the below pairs, what else do you follow? EUR/USD EUR/GBP CHF/JPY AUD/CAD EUR/CHF AUD/NZD NZD/USD AUD/USD GBP/JPY GBP/CHF ...

I may have read this wrong in an earlier post but I thought you couldn't set both a stop loss and a trailing stop at the same time on Ron's EA - I thought it was an either/or type situation.

Ouch. — Just curious if anyone has had similar results on this EA. I'm currently using the first OsMA based EA and began trading a $5,000 demo using 3 mini-lots per trade on G/J, U/J, G/C, and G/U. As of today the EA has made 23 trades of ...

Bollinger Squeeze — One way of determining the bollinger squeeze is to look for when Bollinger Bands (20,2) trade inside Keltner Channels (20,1.5). You would not trade while they are in this area as it means there is very low volatility. ...

BUY: 1>2 2<=3 3<4 SELL: 1<2 2>=3 3>4 Can we make this into an EA? It looks like it incorporates both "V" and "U" trades nicely. The only quirk I see is that it looks for at least 3 bars (4, 3 and 2) to be trending up or down prior to a "V" reversal ...

I don't know how the backtests are conducted but I should note that if the backtest relies on looking at historical charts then you wont get many signals. The reason for this is because of the repainting that takes place after an "equal bar" signal ...

I like the comparison that we're looking for a "U" shape as opposed to the usual "V" shape. That's correct. I also like that you're checking the charts every 15 minutes so that we have a chance to get in the trade up to 45 minutes before the close ...
