1.60 a week ago was totally unbelievable but today, totally, even for a short time. It is a Phyc point and I am sure there are lots of Sell orders in at 1.60. I know that I have one. :-) I have also noticed that in normal trading, except for Mon to ...

I have noticed that since we have been in an UPTREND from 1.3700, that every Thursday, for no real reason, the GBP goes to a new high and then on Friday's, it drops, just as it did last Thursday and Yesterday. Last Friday, we saw a 200 pip drop on ...

Just closed my Sell at 1.5628, this is just too slow moving for me and don't want to get caught in an hr with Treasury Sec Geithner Speaking. Banking 40pips in this market is good for me.

Does anyone follow the FTSE and the DOW when they trade the GBPUSD? Both the FTSE and the DOW have droped all day and are still droping but the GBP is staying still or not droping as it would normally.

True, no movement on the GBP except a run back towards Mid Point @ 1.5675 on my charts where there it seems to be no more buying so might bounce down again.

It is very common for the GBPUSD to open on Monday's 200pips down. Usually, it is 50 to 100 pips but I have seen it over the past 18 mths opening 200 pips down. I always take a Sell on Friday night, just before closing with a 100pip TP on the entry ...
