We are right by buying now. We are definitely heading up (well you never really know but odds are with us). Just look at yesterdays flash results, there was no continuation and all the sells were absorbed. Banks are just loading the ammo for big ...

Btw if todays news come positive it's gonna be a long way up!
We are just heading out from a daily demand zone. I'm going to wait and see what French does but I'm definitely gonna buy German. It could be that French spikes down so banks get ...Central Banks & Big Players

Yes, that is correct. I have my own EA which places the orders and adjusts them to the second the news is released and when one is triggered it cancels the other.

Yes hedging isn't allowed (buying and selling at the same time) but straddling means only one direction, buy or sell will be triggered (buystop/sellstop), not both.

Yeah buystop + sellstop and one will be triggered. I have coded my own EA for straddling but I have heard this one is good: url

Sure. I'll have to edit them to cover my account information etc. Maybe by the next NFP I'll post my NFP trades to youtube and share the links here. Though they are straddle trades and this thread is something different so don't want to compete with ...

Basicly what SaiLyfee listed above so AUD employment and GBP claimant count change. Those are the good winners. Other news require something different if you are using oanda. I have straddled all the news with multiple ecn brokers and slippage is ...

If you are only focusing on those releases, then you can straddle them in oanda. NFP is a sure win killer every time because it has 15 pip max spread and with straddle you win 99% of the time with a straddle. Lets say your straddle is 10 pips away ...

Unemployment Claims doesn't move the market at all. Maximum I have seen is 5 pip spike if that (when it is released seperately). The mover was Core CPI. Always remember to check history when you are considering trading a release.

Don't want to be a smartass but if stop is hit during NFP it is "entering" also. You have to buy/sell to get out. I straddled this NFP and got some good profit. I got slipped 6.5 pips on usd/jpy also but that is really really small on a 50 pip move. ...
