A hit rate of 70% and above sound quite high to me ...is this something you are able to achieve yourself ? What do you think the optimum risk reward ratio should be ? should he stick to 2:1 ? Cheers

So a 50% hit rate with 2:1 targets should mean profit? What hit rate are you achieving if you don't mind me asking? , I struggle to stay above 40% myself, I aim for 3:1 targets.

This is true , when I trade my spreadbet account as a part time trader I always end up doing some stupid over leveraging.... When I trade my futures account as a full time trader ,I tend to be less stupid and more business like .

I don't think you can ever have 100% confidence in your broker or your bank account ....just one of those things you have to endure as a speculator
