Settings for the kumo in the video were 7/22/44. The trading week used to have 6 trading days when Ichimoku was developed with it's standard settings of 9/26/52. Now we have 5 trading days. That comes a little closer to 7/22/44. But you will find ...

Can the ea be used as an alert when price closes above kumo ? Or does anyone have an alert indicator for a kumo breakout ?

The one thing I do not like about renko bars is that a larger stop loss is needed than with range bars of the same size. For a reverse renko bar to be drawn, on a 10 pip renko chart, price has to move 20 pips in the opposite direction. During a ...

Hi, you use a little different settings than the standard 9,26,52. Why do you use these settings instead ?

A "new" simple system based on MA

Hello Could you please program a simple grid ea for me ? No sl, no tp. If I add the ea to the chart it should place 10 buy stops above the current price in 10 pip increments. Ex: current price is 1.3750 then it should a buy stop at 1.3760, the next ...

I personally do not like to demo-trade. Whenever I tested a system that looked profitable - I was using a live account and just traded microlots at 10 cents per pip. Way different for me as emotions need to be checked and MM applied. With good MM ...

Let´s say you have a "bankroll" of 1.000 $ - maybe it would work with 1 cent pip size and using no stop loss and a fixed tp. For a while. You will suffer a huge dd at some point. You can still try this in the US. With Oanda you can "hedge" using a ...

One could draw 2 charts onto one by hand, 1 hour chart for example and only the closing pricing prices. This way there wouldn´t be the issue of rescaling and gap-closing. What do you think deamliner ?

Yesterday and today´s trading of the EA. Step size is 15 pips. Still range bound. 16 losses. Maybe it would be better to use 20 step size or bigger and then wait for a movement of around 200 pips otherwise a range eats up the account balance.

Pipseeker That looks good ! Much smoother and less of a drawdown. I´ll post results of the golden3 ea from forward testing within the next 1-2 days.

I think this system is best traded with an ea which executes the orders. And manually exiting when desired % of profit or number of pips is reached. Pipseeker and pipchaser, which ea did you use ? Speedtrain ?

How does this approach exactly work ? Let us say you buy eur/usd at 1.3500. You then place a sell order at 1.3480 and a buy order at 1.3520. If price goes up to 1.3520 the buy order is triggered - what do you do with the previous sell order at ...

Very interesting thread. I also take trades when I have a 5/12 ema (bago) cross on a 30min chart after a closed candle and then wait for a retracement before I enter. This strategy here looks well formulated and thought through. I am curious how ...
