It may vary. If you are using a Windows VPS then you can typically use the RDP client that comes with Windows XP. Might want to see if you computer at work has this installed.

I have noticed this issue as well. MT4 seems to base the TL based on time rather than price. So when you go to a lower timeframe it will stick to the date/time of the bar in the previously used timeframe instead of the price chosen.
