so you use a max SL of around 2 pip or so and try to grab some extra pips after tp is met to take into account the spread?

Strada, Where was your SL placed in this trade, was it above the signal bar or the swing high? Only reason I ask is if it was the swing high which is about 4pips from the entry and doesn't quite get that 3:1
