I'm trading the SMA as well among other factors. Based on your experience, would a higher SMA ie above 20 be better to cancel out the whipsaws?

not sure if you can apply it countries but one sure indicator will be bailouts that was executed ie Greece bailout is a strong indication of the strength of the country's economy but whether they will default (bankrupt) is another matter

try removing the indicator and installing it back to the directory. the indicator mght not be communicating with the shatterfield server to get the weekly numbers. I have not tried the COT synthetics but I am using the same idea in the COT Proxy

For the past few weeks it was the best time to short the euro, any euro currency pairs. It has been in a downtrend and a strong one at that. I guess it has to do with everything in the Eurozone right now. So I guess I am short biased at the moment.
