Good points. Spreads always expand at the start of the new day. Generally safe to set pending orders an hour or two after that. I always check news before entering trades or setting pending orders.

Hi, I currently use ICMarkets, the spreads are very good. I go for lower targets say 5-7 pips when setting pending orders. When I can watch the setups forming I use the price action to get better entries, say 10 - 20 pips.
