I'll find out when I open a futures account. In the meantime, why can't you politely explain to us coming from fx, what you are talking about rather than just mock. It doesn't benefit anyone really. I'll give you the chance right now......... and if ...

it's relative to acct size. what's your risk per trade then? above .2%?

trailing drawdown makes sense for futures because scalpers have to use large contracts size to squeeze out a profit , like squeezing the juice out of a pomegranate seed, but static is better for non-scalpers

in the US it's still hard to succeed as a swing trader even if you mastered everything because they restrict what asset classes you can trade from one account. Surgetrader got rid of stocks, LUX I can't trade with anymore because they banned the US ...

I don't need to stick to anything since I have mastered everything including indices, you on the other hand are confined to scalping the NQ until they eventually limit the # of accounts you can have and your whole trade the opening strategy fails, ...

literally the same post I mentioned tradethepool, what firm do you think I'm suggesting? I've seen nothing on why it's not viable.

I would say the opposite, you would know the obvious fact that soybeans oil is more like trading a zar and soybeans are more like trading the euro; Indices don't move that much in percent terms that why I don't trade them, it's not that I can't ...

I don't think it's irrelevant. And "soybeans" are not soybean oil. Soybeans on average only move 4% per trade in my system so I used soybean oil as the example because they move more like a natural gas type commodity. How do you know what ...

for US traders , I fail to see why I would want to trade futures long term. that's the real issue. whereas fx you could accumulate capital and build up the balance, futures is short term and about withdrawing profits. that's why I think it's easier ...
