You sound like a long term player. Good for you. I'm an intra day trader and I see it going down first (whatever happens to the bailout) before emerging long and strong.

The EUR price action whenever the deal was "finalized" over the past two days should have given you some indication of how the markets will act.

You are correct, it definitely is a gamble. I'm a little chicken about weekends so I'll probably not go through with that bold move

I'm thinking of leaving a small (1 mini lot) position short open over the weekend, incase the bailout becomes official....

I've noticed that. This also applies to support points. They are often tested more than once.

My chart is actually an hourly chart. I use it to see the broad trend lines. the 5 minute confuses the heck out of me!

Magictrader, pls see my question to psiholog above---how did you arrive at this channel? Thanks in advance, just trying to learn

Psiholog, can you help me understand how you arrived at this 5 minute channel? I am following the attached channel and was waiting for it go go lower...

OK, I'm confused now. We are obviously still in the channel so more downside now than upside unless we break 4650?

[quote=acumen;2244219]We've got stops built up below .4520. Bulls will protect those... it won't last through next week but it may hold today. Acumen, there is also some talk of the Fed cutting rates. Fed Futures have priced in a rate cut.

Me too. The way I look at it, last night we had news of a possible failed bailout. Yet this pair made a new weekly low to 4555.

Hey do you think we could retest EU 4555 again or do you see bullish correction first? The fact that it could not break 4670 last night is bearish IMO

That's because everything was manipulated prior to the data-- all thisbullish EUR action was pure manipulation.
