on the other hand an increasing euro leads to a weakening of the USD thus increasing spot gold price. Lots of factors...USD is seen as a safe haven as well.

I have closed my yesterdays longs this morning and am waiting to long again around 1782 once fibs and resistance is broken. I dont see why you would short now. Resistance price has not been rejected yet, it would be too dangerous for me.
