Yeah your correct there, however it can be solved by using internet of two different providers (it's rarely that both of them don't work at the same time) However EA's are indeed a good tool, if you can manage your money..

Indeed, but all this has to be followed in order to get the 10 pips at the end of the day. Fear and greed are still the biggest enemies in my case

I worked with Alpari UK and they are fairly good. Sometimes allot of slippages, but I think every brokerage has this, especially during news events. Another one to consider is MIGfx, the support they give is verry good and the platform is also ok. ...

Indeed, scalping on those tiny profits is extremely hard. To anwser the question, 10 pips on a daily base may look less, but once you have figured out a strategy that can realise this it isn't difficult to adjust it and make more pips on a daily ...

Most probably not.. All live accounts suffer some kind of slippage. But if the demo runs fairly smooth then the live account probablly run smooth as wel.

Verry good advice! Two different brokers are always better then one. In this way you'll see how much difference there is between brokers.

But the margin levels also grows if you adjust the leverage? At some brokers it is possible to change the leverage afterwards.

For allot of people it is hard to see the clear picture if a trade goes against them. Most of the time fear or greed will be a factor that has to be dealt with. That's why it's easier to set an entry and exit point..
