Simple Way is the most advance way...

stevox replied Sep 10, 2016If someone can code a simple ea that either sell or buy at stochastics level close that with simple stop loss and take profit base on stochastics close level that would be good. Just set the ea when u see the initial setup and remove it if the leg ...

stevox replied Sep 10, 2016Its actually a visual backtest, i fix the take stop loss and and take profit method so that we can have a good gauge of the system profitability. Apparently, it is very good. I have attached 2 images for example, the reason why i chose 6,94 instead ...

stevox replied Sep 10, 2016I did a look at the historical h1 charts for USD/CAD, here are the results for entries on 6/94 stochs instead of PSAR AND 18,1,1 for both zigzag and stochs, all stops are placed at 20 pips loss: PROFITS ARE ESTIMATED ASSUMING YOU TELL PROFITS ...

stevox replied Sep 10, 2016I think not having the PSAR makes it better, directly entering on the stochs 0/100 closed h1 candle gives better entry and lower stop loss required. And i think having 18,1,1 on both zigzag and stochs is better too, the false setups causes the win ...

stevox replied Apr 6, 2016No Problem, yes i agree with you that the drawdown is too huge to make it worth while. Do you think it might work if there is some entry filter for zigler ea? I tried running on 1 lot for 10k account and it crashed without lasting at least half a ...

stevox replied Apr 6, 2016Took about 2 days to run this, i downloaded the tick data from tickstory. As we can see the ea survived because it had a good start, if it had encountered some of the big DD at an earlier stage account would have been wiped. Lot size 0.1 used.
