silverngold replied Apr 29, 2009Hi QZ, I tried using the protect ea and it worked great at closing the trades, however it caused account loss due to the trade being $140 in the negative on the open on nzd due to spread. This caused a combative situation between the 60x90 and the ...

silverngold replied Apr 29, 2009Hi NewEra, The red square means a down trend for that currency pair and particular tf and a green square means means up trend. The gray squares are the pairs and tfs that you want to use for the 60x90 as it is counter-trend. Basically a ranging ...

silverngold replied Apr 27, 2009Excellent indie for the group here. It spots the trend on all currency pairs for all tfs from 5m to Daily. In essence, it gives one the ability to discriminate which pairs that you wish the ea to run on. Furthermore, you can also use a trending ea ...

silverngold replied Apr 24, 2009What you can do..... — Hi DMJ, There is a way to avoid the spiking, too. This is taken directly from Jason Fielder's, "Scalping Cheat Sheets". When are choppy/ranging markets most likely to occur? The best times that I have found to scalp the ...

silverngold replied Apr 22, 2009I totally agree with DMJ. It would be really nice to have a stop trading setting with a timed execution and also sensitive to spiking in the wrong direction of the trade. Unfortunately, I don't see how one could really code something like that other ...

silverngold replied Apr 21, 2009Hi Siobi, How are you doing? I was wondering, what ever happened to the FX 1m bouncing system? I tried using it, but it says that it "expired"? The FX 30m bouncing works pretty good. Thanks, Vincent

silverngold replied Apr 21, 2009Has anyone else been having trouble whenever simply changing the input parameters getting the ea to do trades? I don't know why it does it, but it seems like every time I make changes it gives me grief in executing trades. I went to the tools- ...

silverngold replied Apr 21, 2009Try this one (FX Predictor). I use it with great success. Supposedly, it is not a lagging indicator and it gives you the percentage of the candle/bar buy/sell strength along with the countdown for the current bar.

silverngold replied Apr 19, 2009Thanks Bob, I too agree with only forward testing as that is the only accurate indicator to true effectiveness of trading systems. Your dedication to making a great ea is a real credit to you and your thoughtfulness of replying back to every inquiry ...

silverngold replied Apr 15, 2009Hi again Bob! I tried out the 100x80 this morning for the first time demo on a 10k - 100:1 - 1.0 lot. In the trade box it showed almost every trade in the money, but then it would close out some of those same trades and it would show a negative ...

silverngold replied Apr 7, 2009Hmmm. . . Very Good Example . . . Could be very interesting to see in actual forward testing performance. I especially like the handling of the stop loss hit. It will take some testing side-by-side with the regular 60x90 and see which performs ...

silverngold replied Apr 3, 2009Hey QZ, Sounds awesome! What did you do to change the ea? Did you actually change out some coding or just simply change the inputs parameters? Have you been trading only in the evening? If so, that makes a nice EOD ea.
