Interceptor replied Jan 13, 2009In a nutshell, there really isn't a 'nailed on' way of determining a change of trend as early as we would all like. All you can do is break it down into probabilities. Determine the point at which you believe entry has the highest chance of success, ...

Interceptor replied Jan 13, 2009I'm a member of Jacko's group, so I hope you'll excuse me if I don't "take your three way discusion to another thread where the three of you can talk". Trixtuf and Krue are obviously feeling their way in this thread, but fortunately are in a very ...

Interceptor replied Jan 13, 2009Hi there Krue & trixtuf A good idea is to leave your charts on daily setting by default, and if you do zoom in at all, always go back out to daily before you leave the screens. Kind of gets you in the habit.

Interceptor replied Jan 12, 2009If there was a 'juicy' rise to the 3800 area, then I'd sell it back down. Otherwise, wait for the value to arrive lower down from here before buying.

Interceptor replied Jan 12, 2009If Plan A was properly researched, backtested and demo'd, then any deviation from that plan MUST only be to an alternative, and hopefully complimentary, plan which has been equally well developed. Anything else is a donation to your brokers next ...

Interceptor replied Jan 12, 2009The 1st (correctly planned) trade, @ 1.3820, was unconnected to the second(losing) trade, which was an attempt to 'fade' the NFP announcement. I successfully 'faded' my bank balance! Hey-ho. Another week, another lesson learnt.

Interceptor replied Jan 11, 2009The most annoying thing is, stuck under my 1st screen I have a piece of paper. It reads "DON'T TRADE THE NEWS!". This weeks lesson, for me, is; STICK TO PLAN A and, if Plan A is not showing it's face, then; GO TO THE PUB UNTIL PLAN A RETURNS

Interceptor replied Jan 8, 2009Hoping for either a last run-up for a selling opportunity(around 1.3820), or a considerable drop for a buy entry(around 1.3050).

Interceptor replied Jan 7, 2009Been looking at these two latest (almost) pinbars on USD/CHF. Both turned out well, but I didn't trade them as they didn't close within. Right choice?

Interceptor replied Jan 6, 2009Hi Krue I've got the remnants of a trendline, and a 62 fib, both situated around 1.3300, so I'm also thinking that there may be some congestion around that area. My own guess is that a more serious buying opportunity may later present itself around ...

Interceptor replied Jan 5, 2009I wonder if anybody could help me with a quick fibs query? On the daily USD/CHF chart(below) I originally drew my fib lines(yellow) from the swing high to the first swing low. Price then made a significant rise, followed by a drop to a new, slightly ...

Interceptor replied Jan 3, 2009The answer to the question is................nobody knows! There's no clear cut indication of where this market will go next. We've had a looooong uptrend, followed by a very sharp correction/change of trend. Also, the first month or two of the year ...

Interceptor replied Dec 31, 2008There are two hands being played within this poker game. On the one hand, the US govt., is (finally)taking the approach of basically throwing the kitchen sink at the problem. After messing up big-time with Lehman's they seem to 'get it'. On the ...
