If we enter a trade on the 5min timeframe, do we trail by the 5min Ks or the 1hr Ks? My understanding (correct me if I am wrong) is that Bull's trades from Friday were entered on the 5min timeframe and trailed by the 5min Ks whereas 4xaddict might ...

So, a 4hr Ts/Ks cross, you enter on the 5min but put your stop at the 4hr kumo? This is different to what some others do which is enter on the 5min chart with their stop on the other side of the 5min kumo.

This is the thing, if we take entries on the 5mins chart then the stop is usually the other side of the senkou. If it's a 4hr trade, then I find it difficult to see the reason in taking 5min entries. The answer could be it allows us to add to our ...

News spike stopped that one out on the USDJPY. Oh well, awaiting a re-entry if the 5mins goes back below the cloud.

Hi Bull Thanks for the reply. So, were you following the 5min Ks in your trade examples as a point to exot rather than the 1hr Ks? I believe you posted 3 trade reports all made last Friday. I assume you were adding to your position at the Ks bounces? ...

There is a short on the 4hr I think, which matches up with your bounce off resistance, the kumo cloud you circled yesterday. ?

Just a question on NZDUSD. Daily is above the kumo. 4hr is neutral. 1hr has a strong Ts/Ks cross and price is retesting the Ks. If we can get a 4hr close above the kumo, would this be a good pair to look for longs on the shorter timeframes?

Ok, so you definitely want the cross below the kumo. I guess there are times where the cross happens in the cloud and price moves down but never crosses over again for a few hundred pips - I suppose that's one option I was referring to. On a down ...

I think some are waiting on CHFJPY at the moment aren't you? Would you take a close below the kumo as a valid signal to then go short on the lower timeframes? The cross is inside the cloud but if we close below the kumo in a few hours then the ...

No, just before the Ts crosses the Ks price has bounced off the Ks and closed below the Ts exactly the same as at point A, B, and C making D a valid signal for a short. Of course, a few periods later we get the bullish cross. Can't unfortunately but ...

Ok, but on that EURJPY chart I had, point D looks very similar to point B so shouldn't it qualify as an entry? A few periods before the Ts crosses back over the Ks, price actually bounced off the Ks and closed below the Ts indicating a sell? image

Yes. However, one final clarification with an example
In the chart below, EURJPY, you will see the 1hr price bounce from the Ks and then close below the Ts. However, the actual Ts/Ks cross was many hours ago. but on the way down (and I think BULL ...Ichimoku forever

What is the take on the EURJPY at the moment? It looks like price rejected off the 1hr Ks and priced closed below the Ts. However, a few hours later, it moved above the Ts again. The 4hr chart shows the Ks far away and a flat bearish kumo in the ...

A 4x...a quick question about this again. If you get a Ts/Ks cross and you are then waiting for a retest of the Ts (say price was far away from the Ts when the cross happened) and a close of the candle below the Ts, do you need another Ts/Ks cross ...
