Peezeroo, There are no pips in futures trading, even on currency futures. For CL/ each tick is worth $10 and each tick is 1 penny of price movement, QM/ which is also an oil future each tick is worth $12.50 for every 10 cents of price movement.

Hi Monk, I start out with the 8 major pairs. I use power indicator to find what currency is weak/strong in 4 hr/1hr setting then scroll through pairs on those currencies to find pairs for trades.
