Here's one more input that might help you figure out non-unidirectional intent. Today's market will break either yesterday's adr high or low(except inside bar). Figure out which one. That's why I ask WHEN do you know. Answer lies in yesterday's ...

Here's the translation, 1% is approximate to 100% ADR20. Can you see almost everyday comes close to 1% change?

Yup, exactly what I meant
Edit - "Basically let 40 pips ride to show intent, then take 50 pips out of the ADR remaining." Bingo!
As I wrote in post#5490, you can do this on any range expansion of your choice. Just work out the numbers. ...Flying Dutchman

For 50pips minimum take profit intraday, the pair should ideally have a ADR20 between 100 - 150pips. Don't want it to be too large else you get volatility issues. The recommended pairs are, GU, EJ, GJ, EA and ECAD. Cheers

Let me push the brackets of interpretation of intent a little more to see where I am coming from. We know market will keep testing and establishing new highs lows throughout the day. Let's say, GU ADR is 150pips, and we take 33% giving 50 pips. At ...

Guys, I don't want to start another round of argument. I'm tired of it. I posted because the topic is about intent. And my main post on this subject is post #5490. Once you know what you're trading it's much easier. This is what I want to share with ...

If onlookers just follow what you do, trade intraday swings 50pips and more, it's a cinch.
Imagine what 50pips can do for our account.Flying Dutchman

Sorry, I was not referring to you. Looking at your charts I know you are already familiar with this. I was referring to people out there who look at your chart, I'm sure they hv problems visualising h4 intent which is shown clearly on your charts, ...

I'm sure you know your m30 is much clearer than your m5, if you know what I mean. Btw I use m5 for entry. Cheers

This pic that you posted showed clear h4 intent on the m5 chart, the trade entry is clear. The problem is its difficult to visualise h4 intent from m5 chart. Not that it can't be done, what I m pointing out is we are trading h4 intent for intraday ...

Compare GJ and GU charts Friday, GJ has no clear intent because it's trapped both top and bottom, can't make 50pips swing. Whereas GU has a clear bottom at 1.19620 region, safe entry at LC for clear h4 intent to take place us session. And it did as ...

If you are an intraday swing trader, aiming for 50pips minimum per entry, then keep your eyes on the h4 candle. The secret sauce is h4 candle and h4 intent(not the same as candle) governs intraday movement. H4 intent is the most important, trade in ...
