They also look abit like yahoo finance charts. Personally though i think the yahoo charts for VIX shows things in greater detail and interactivity.

Really wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Remember ANZAC day Holiday for AUS and NZ on Monday and since they're the first markets that open (or don't open in this case) what better time to make a really big move.

It certainly looks like some big time distribution. I really can't believe how the DJIA behaved today. Opened 100+ points lower - oh but WFC reported a good earning assisted by a shaving in provisions - Rally back into the green

yeah that greek bailout/bankruptcy/just explode already disaster gets worse everyday. Frankly i think 8% is too low. It should be priced like one of those delinquent CDOs bound to return about <30c on the dollar
