Morrishe, I trade charts that show periods of movement and periods of consolidation. My favorite is finding trades that are breaking out of consolidation. its just something you have to look for all pairs will act that way at times.

Hi Razor, yes I do use another system, that uses Keltner channel and Bollinger bands called the Squeeze. I also use another system to catch reversals that use 3 keltner channels and 3 rsi's

I do enter trades before news announcements especially if not marked as red, but try to do it at least a an hour prior,then deciding what I want to do just prior to announcement. after announcements will usually wait 15-20 min. before going back in..
