I believe that many of TG's entries are live entries based on acceleration and velocity points. Have you managed to code something which can show these? I'm trying at the moment, but my coding skills are a bit lacking to say the least :/

Hmm.. Okay, so for velocity we need: a. The current value of TGSS (changing constantly) b. The previous value of TGSS (set in stone) c. The time difference between the two values. To calculate the time difference we need the current time minus the ...

Ah, but by your definition to calculate velocity we'd need the close time of the previous Renko bar (because this is when the indicator value would be set in stone) and the close time of the current bar. I'm guessing you're working out the time a ...

Ah, I actually meant is there a way to give a value of the time elapsed between two points - because with Renko obviously the time varies so you can't just take the 1 minute per value in the time series?

Thank you yet again!
One final question (for now hehe) - are you using anything other than the acceleration and velocity to give you an entry point? Or have you simply found the appropriate levels of these to all but guarantee a 10 pip move? If ...C4 Scalping

Thanks for the clarification! I've been working on this all night!
If I'm asking too many questions let me know and I'll refrain.. but just a couple of things that I'm not quite clear on. I'm trying to look back through your trades to figure out ...C4 Scalping

Haha, well done! Sorry to ask once more, but again - posts seem to get swallowed up fast. If you wouldn't mind just clarifying.. As far as I understand you are looking for high velocity & acceleration as confirmation of a strong move to pick entry ...

Just putting the idea out there - could someone code an indicator that plots the acceleration and velocity of TG's indy? I've tried having a fiddle in MQ4, but my skills aren't really up to the task. Thanks in advance if anyone decides to have a go ...

Hi Anne, thanks for that explanation. So if I understand correctly, you have basically found that when the acceleration and velocity of your indicator hit certain levels you can be assured (within reason
) of 10 pips or so?C4 Scalping

Hi TG, I'm not sure if you saw my earlier reply to you - I'm still a little unsure about your definition of momentum - which you say you use to pick trade entry points with your EA. We have velocity, which is the rate of change of the position of ...

Actually I'm still a little unsure... We have velocity, which is the rate of change of the position of the indicator. We have acceleration, which is the rate of change of the velocity of the indicator. What is momentum here? Thanks!!

Thanks for your indy! I'm just wondering exactly what you mean by momentum? Do you mean we should consider the time factor of price movements? Or something else?

I'm trying to setup the BasketTrader 5.1, but when I drag the EA to a chart it does not display any currencies. I've got no smiley face in the top right hand corner and I have live trading enabled in the properties of the chart. Anyone have any idea ...

Hi Edge, sure, I've attached a couple of EY charts with similar false positives. Also, just a quick thank you for starting this amazing thread. I spent the last 3 days reading the entire thing.
