Donkey replied Nov 1, 2011Hey DC. couple of thoughts from the man himself on the power of confluence....Notice how he mentions over and over that confluences add strength to the setups. url url url url

Donkey replied Oct 27, 2011Yep. I almost put a retrace entry there rather than break for that reason.... but wanted to take this one live (small account). A few more demos on retrace before I trade them live. Stop now to 1.7435....(hiding behind the HCR
). Looking for ...james16 Chart Thread

Donkey replied Oct 26, 2011don't normally trade 4H, especially late in day, but couldn't help myself on EURNZD.....love the 1.7400 zone for management.

Donkey replied Oct 21, 2011Are you looking at 1.5962/3 area? I see a wkly hcr from Aug 2010 lining up almost to the pip with LCS from Jun 2011. Add in Pinbar's 365 and a 50 retracement that's there.....I think you guys are onto something.

Donkey replied Oct 19, 2011Looks decent to me. Here's 4H HNS on CADJPY....neckline is BRN. Would personally need close below 74.76. Let's watch this one too.

Donkey replied Oct 19, 2011Thanks Mike...exits are the toughest part for me....definitely gotta keep working on those. What do you think of CHFSGD...looks like key support....valid wedge? Also a cup and handle look to it.

Donkey replied Oct 19, 2011I'm still in the AUDJPY....I admit I wasn't expecting such a deep draw down. I was actually expecting this morning that by day end I would have be taking my first full bar loss of the year. However, knowing how Outside bars and PIns normally behave, ...

Donkey replied Oct 17, 2011The candle conists of the body and the wicks (body reps open/close, wicks high/low). Min requirements as I see them on the bearish engulfing (represented by body), the close has to be lower than the open and the high and low must be higher and lower ...

Donkey replied Oct 17, 2011Technically it's a BEOB in that the high and low are both higher and lower than that of the previous bar. In this case, on my feed, the close of the bar is actually 1 pip below the previous bar's low. I wish it engulfed a little more, but the other ...

Donkey replied Oct 17, 2011I chose this one too. Most of the other pairs didn't close below a BRN. I would have liked to have seen this one engulf 2 days of bars, but the close on this one, location, and space to FTA make this a high probability set up in my opinion.

Donkey replied Oct 14, 2011Manually closed for 0.6R (about same place cprao closed I think). Late Friday couldn't get a push up through 122. On to the next one.

Donkey replied Oct 14, 2011Great trades c. My FTA's are actually my first target levels. I often take profits there. At minimum I reduce at least some of my risk at those areas.

Donkey replied Oct 12, 2011Looking at that daily HCR1 at 1.3827 on a lower time frame, price already gave the first bounce at the area. Divergence on 15minute, with the daily HCR - I'm personally not ready for that (still learning to trust the levels).

Donkey replied Oct 12, 2011
Great trade. This is trading right into the consolidation area, which is a double-edged sword and tricky to manage. IMO Safest play is taking profit at FTA - which it looks like you did.james16 Chart Thread

Donkey replied Oct 12, 2011can't see anything to disagree with PB. I really like the 1.4000 area if it makes it - wkly hcr at swing high with BRN/retracement confluence is a great area to watch. the bar low to the left on the weekly chart looks like it might be an obstacle. ...
