zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008gbpchf — Keeping an eye on this pair. We're currently hovering around a round number and if we slide through 2.0200 and pick up momentum quickly, I'm going to start selling. Right now I'm hoping it goes higher because I prefer it when price is ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 200812 of 16 — Didn't realize Bernanke was speaking today. Tally now stands at 12 of 16. I believe he's speaking again on Thursday so that's something to be mindful of.

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008Audusd 4 hour wave collapsed. I wouldn't consider any longs until we start breaking waves to the upside. When waves collapse, it suggests more downside movement.

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008gbpchf: possible setup around the corner — We had a wave collapse last week on the gbpchf. Price is currently pulling back, so if it starts turning around it would be a great opportunity to short. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Might be ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008Follow up on post#971 — Thought I would bring this post up (posted May 29, 2008) to demonstrate how powerful waves are. We had a wave collapse on the Dow Jones and S&P500 back on May 29th. Here is an updated chart of just the Dow Jones. ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008audusd: possible wave collapse — There may be a possible wave collapse on the audusd pair. Still 2 hours left of my 4 hour period but if we end up below the horizontal line indicated, I'm getting out because I'm obviously wrong and the market ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008I trade the bigger, more defined waves. That peak that you pointed out I see as "noise". My bias for this pair will only change if we create a well defined wave and it breaks to the upside but that hasn't happened yet.

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008This part is the discretionary part. If you notice it looks like it's turning around and then it starts to speed up, that's when you enter. I don't have a rule where if the market moves "x" amounts of pips I enter. I do this based on how I see ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008uschf down — usdchf had waves that collapsed down. That means we only sell but wait for price to turn around first. Here's my chart.

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008Thanks! —
That post right there made my day. Quite a few seem to think this method of trading isn't possible because you aren't seeing bars/candles or you're using a big stop. If that isn't proof enough I don't know what is LOL btw. Nice ...zoopy's trading journal

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008gbpjpy weekly — Interesting what we have here. Just noticed we broke the weekly wave for this pair to the upside. Not sure if last week's close was a confirmed one so will probably wait until next week to make my decision. My bias for this ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008gold 4 hour — This might be why aussie is dropping a little. Gold broke a wave last week so my bias for this is definitely up. Would be interesting to see where this ends up but I do believe up, unless we create a wave and it collapses.

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008audusd 4 hour — Took this trade this morning but am currently -26 pips. Looks like it's creating a new wave. I'll be keeping an eye on this current wave because if it collapses, I will be pulling the trade since I'm wrong. Might be a couple of ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008cable 4 hour — The chart for this was posted last Friday I believe, when the wave broke to the upside and closed. Last night it looked like this pair wasn't going to pullback so I entered long with a large stop. This trade is also currently at ...

zoopy replied Jun 9, 2008You're kinda getting the right idea with your explanation of how I place stops. In theory and in practice, when a move down turns into a move up, it HAS to create a wave first and break that wave up. Having said that, once it has done this, it ...
