That's another objection I have to this method- I was a Refco victim and wouldn't keep the money it takes to make this worthwhile with a single broker. However, there are enough of these non-interest brokers around now that it could be split up ...

Oanda pays $34.91. I looked it up this morning. The last I heard, FXDD paid $40 something.

Its just not my style of trading. If I were going to do a hedge I would do the GBP/JPY alone. You open a long GBP/JPY position with a broker that pays SWAPS- That collects from $35 to $48 a day per lot- 365 days a year. You go short a GBP/JPY ...

As I've said, the hedge you're doing isn't any different that a simple long position on EUR/CHF except you're losing out on SWAPS and paying more commission than you would on a straight EUR/CHF. Let me show you a spread that has a reason for being. ...

I would like very much to hear a lengthy explanation of why you think this works- even a short explanation. I think that would be a lot of fun to hear.

You mentioned it then and it did not make any sense and it still doesn't. There are no more fluctuations in this hedge than there are in a straight EUR/CHF position. There is nothing about this hedge that will capture profits that a EUR/CHF position ...

Here are two daily closing price charts going back to May, 2006. The top one is the "EUR/USD - USD/CHF "hedge". The bottom one is the EUR/CHF. You have to use a magnifying glass to see any difference in them. The hedge has a slightly negative SWAPS. ...

If its a legitimate spread, it is nothing like what you're doing. As has been explained to you several times, you are not trading a spread. You are trading a naked long EUR/CHF.

Trendlines are subjective. No two people will draw them the same. That's why I like DeMark's trendlines. They are mechanical and objective. If yours work for you, keep doing them the way you do them.

I liked the book. I liked Ayn Rand. I think you'll have to admit thee was a LOT of hot air in Atlas Shrugged.

I'm sure this is a great system. I traded it for a couple of weeks and it is a monster to manage- it requires constant attention. I learned a good lesson from it. Do-ability is more important than profitability.

You can do it either way. Pino is using the standard formula. CEO posted some Cam indicators, a few posts back, that will calculate them and put them on your chart.

John, Those are the same formulas Pino posted. Cam lines use the designations of L &H, not S&R. You might not have gotten the same lines he got because you were using a different broker's chart. The day might have ended at a different time and the ...

Pino, Thank you. This looks good. Do you have an indicator that will draw historical Cam lines? I have a couple that will give you todays, but I don't have one that will keep the past days Cam lines on the chart.
