Troikaone1 replied Aug 8, 2010I make incredible returns on false break outs. The trick is being able to differentiate between a false break out and a real break out. You can easily blow out an account if you don't know the difference.

Troikaone1 replied Aug 8, 2010IMHO, I believe false breakouts occur in areas where there is an overwhelming number of orders on one side of the market only. This probably occurs in areas where it is perceived to be a high probability area for 99% of traders.

Troikaone1 replied Aug 8, 2010Often those ribbons can be right in front of your face, but like I said, they are very well disguised by the MMs. The longer you trade, the better you become at finding out where the ribbons are hidden (high probability plays).
