I hope people recognize the vastly different styles of posts from the so-called "experts" here. On the one hand there are a few people here like PTL, Sissie, Hatch etc who post without fuss or drama. For the most part their posts are informative and ...

I see a pretty big barrier at 4246. Last week it attempted to break through and got rejected and reversed course for ~200pips. I'd hold off on longs till I see a breakout above that level.

Yea but you don't pick a bottom till you have confirm breakout to the upside on a high TF. Besides your move is no less risky when you consider the drawdown on your account. I'd be pretty tense if I was going into the weekend 70pips in the red.

But why leave pips on the table not to mention paying the overnight interest on leverage? Short it on the way down and then reverse position.

Brilliant. In the last few seconds, they took it higher and closed the bar 1pip above open. Bears are exhausted IMHO. Taking a long scalp. tight stops.

If you take a slightly longer term view, like past 1 year or 2 years, UK has high inflation. March 2010 inflation was at 3.36%, currently it is at 4.44%. That is a huge increase.

40318 is the level I am watching. The next level up is 70 pips away. If there is rejection then 4003 followed by 3971.

If the price break through the Daily R then what is the best way to calculate a target price? I often find I either leave money on the table by having a too aggressive trail or no trail but then the pullback takes out a nice chuck.
