Wigglesworth replied Mar 2, 2014Just threw caution to the wind and bought .10 lots of USD/SEK to understand the margins, spread and such.. Never tried it before though I trade the other 28 currencies.. have a 19 pip spread am currently at BE...any other thoughts???

Wigglesworth replied Feb 28, 2014Yes took a EUR/USD trade on CPI news...Did a straddle with an EA.. Set at: 10 pip SL 30 pip TP 12 pip Gap 7 pip BE Triggered the buy...made 30 pips in a couple of seconds...I'll take it!!! Have fun with your son!!!

Wigglesworth replied Feb 27, 2014Decided to trade the NZS ANZ Biz Outlook..Report very favorable... NZD/CAD 7pip SL....went to breakeven after 7 pips... 3 pip spread didn't change at newstime... 40 pip TP after 1 hour.... almost a 1:5.5 R/R ratio

Wigglesworth replied Feb 27, 2014The US GDP can be a big mover when different from forecast... The GDP moved over 100 pips on Dec 5th( but whipsawed 30 pips) Pending home sales on Jan. 30 had a large disparity in forecast vs. actual but moved less than 30 pips..
