Hi lb How did you get the trendline for this re-entry, did you use the Ts bounce because there don't seem to be 2 troughs to form a trendline here:

You recommend 1hr and up? Obviously the signal is stronger there. I was just reading this: url Even without the candle and fractal, the CSTLB is a re-sell signal to me from the earlier cross. However, the Asian session usually retraces somewhat...

Divergent candles can also come in the guise of reversal candles. For example, a divergent candle that is also a candle with a long wick, that is probably your class A setup. So, how do we determine when to exit the trade? That USDJPY chart as an ...

It seems the main profitability of the system is going for the longer term pips. If you are closing everything out at TP1 then the losing trades will wipe out that profit, no? If you do some backtests and run 2 trades without ...Daily Divergent Candles Method

Kharvell Presumably trading close to the kumo, you get a higher trade size as well as the SL is much closer to your entry?

Hi Bull The Bill Williams fractal is placed at an arbitrary point above or below the candle isn't it? It's simply the indicator spacing the fractal so it can be viewed. Do you actually use the fractal or should it be the low of the candle that the ...

Hi sinner I don;t know if you like them but I am a big fan of bollinger bands. If you stick up a 20 period bollinger and use the divergent candles only near the outer edges of the bollinger, you get some high quality trades. Seems to work best with ...

Did the last 4 trades on USDJPY get stopped out? Looks like a bearish divergent candle developing for tonight. When you say UC, do you mean UCAD or UChf?

I am a little bit lost :0 It appears from Bull's posts that the trades are entered on the break of the fractal yet on vic's posts, he circles completely different fractals. eg IN AN UPTREND vic takes a down fractal as the indication to go long ...

Here's another GBPCHF re-entry trade. I seem to have been shorting GBPCHF for the past 2 weeks now
I could have entered on the bounce off the 30min Ks but I decided to wait for a close under the support area and this coincided with a 30min Ts/Ks ...Ichimoku forever

London open is very good. Since June, this has been a very profitable tactic breaking out of the Asian session box with a 50:50 success rate with trades at 1:2 R:R.

So you took the entry below the kumo but because of the CS crossing price? The 2nd trendline - what made you draw on those troughsrather than the one before? I guess with B, the CS had not crossed price?

And you wait for a close before deciding that the CSTL has been broken relevant to the TF you're trading? eg EURJPY has a possible short on the 1hr if the CSTL breaks but might need to wait until 12GMT. News is coming up on the EUR so I am just ...

In the GBPCHF case, when price first breaks the CSTL, we could enter but we need a close past the CSTL and we're still not sure if it will retrace but the stop can be fairly tight I suppose. However, if we had waited to enter ...Ichimoku forever

I haven't traded any counter trend trades but I keep an eye on them because I'm looking for the re-entry. There are a few risky areas for counter trend trading including: - if you take the initial break of the CSTLB you run the risk that it's not a ...

You'll have to ask lbtrader on the CSTLB confirmation. So far, I have only used CSTLB to exit trades. Personally, my entry is generally the exit of the Ts or Cs from the cloud as long as the candles are still fairly close to the kumo giving a good ...

I think be careful placing a sell above the kumo even though there is a TL breakout, not sure where you entered in this case. Once it crosses through the kumo and the CS crossed price (& CS exited cloud with), that would have been a good ...
