many brokers started to offer NBP after SNB event, for example Hotforex. Personally I think it's done for marketing purposes because such situations in forex are ultra-rare considering tremendous amount of liquidity.

Should we allow to pass some time to enter into sell after current price = cycle high condition is met? The price can retest cycle high in 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 hrs etc. Not clear from your post how it should be done

Yeah good suggestions both are quite reliable. I would also add HFM to this list. Compare execution for 40-50 trades and see which one performs better.

Read their ToS to see where they can act as a market maker. As soon as you start to make money depending on your strategy you can face constraints. This is not unusual for any broker which attempts to play as a market maker.

You get little protection with offshore brokers due to lack of regulatory oversight. This is not obvious risk so often underestimated. I would strongly advice to trade only in venues which are subject to regulation from FCA or ASIC.

The simplest solution is to calculate mean of N last observations and use it in mean reversion strategy but this is MA-divergence strategy at its core, maybe playing with weights or window size will help but overfitting is likely at some stage.
