coolhand replied Feb 27, 2007Hey faddy, I have the 76% fib line at 233.53 but I also read a report saying 233.13 was a target level today. I was concerned about the usd/jpy at 119 but it broke below that earlier. I have 232 as support, the previous low last week. I'm trailing ...

coolhand replied Feb 27, 2007Ride the wave — I went short at 236.60. Nice run so far. I have the 61.8 fib at 234.47, right where it has stalled now. The next level, the 76.4 fib is at 233.59. I hope it will break through and run another 100 pips.

coolhand replied Feb 23, 2007I heard that more than once. And don't forget roller, rates in Japan last year were only .25%. At least I was close on the gbp today. Reversal at 1.9655, well it stalled at 49. Maybe I could be an expert too?

coolhand replied Feb 23, 2007How true! How true! I learned this lesson last fall after listening to all the 'experts' saying the yen was going down to 99usd! I kept waiting for the next move down which never happened. Never again! I'll rely on myself.

Cable Update (GBPUSD)

coolhand replied Feb 23, 2007I'm going to stay away from cable today. All the chop and slop this week has me thinking wait for a clear signal. I'll keep my gbp/jpy long though, the consensus is for more rate increases for the uk.

coolhand replied Sep 27, 2006Horace, you nailed it! You cannot just start this ea and expect it to make you money without some management, such as turning it off during news announcements, or what I do is turn it off when I'm not trading, such as overnight. I never know what ...

coolhand replied Sep 18, 2006other pairs? — chad, I would say usd/cad or, and this is just my experience, the nzd/usd. You can some decent moves out of either one. Stay away from gbp or it's crosses, too volatile for this ea, leads to many open orders.
