Thats because I rarely trade the nzd once in a while the gbp/nzd. Just never had much luck with nzd or chf. One way to use the strength meter is to check the 4 hr readings, then 1 hr and see if trend is still the same then look for continuation ...

Hey Alcol, I judge volatility by how fast range bars are forming another method that is less discretionary is checking the ADX and seeing if its above 25 and moving up.
