pipmutt replied May 22, 2009Why not just open a live account with them, minimum funding is only $1 and I don't think they have any inactivity fees, saves having to renew a demo. Price feed will be live and the live server is more reliable than demo anyway.

pipmutt replied May 21, 2009Yes it does, it says to me that after being alerted to the mistake they tried to resolve the issue quickly. I thought the CS guy had immense patience, he deserves a medal! All m88 needed to do was ask how they arrived at that figure and if he wasn't ...

pipmutt replied May 20, 2009Hang on, you're saying that you would notice that discrepancy and have time to exploit it but Oanda and their banks of servers, filters, algos and whatever other IT crap they have running the show wouldn't even notice before it's too late? Come ...
Price Adjustment Rule --- put all our accts at risk?
-
pipmutt replied May 20, 2009You're focussing solely on winning trades which they are obliged to pay out, what's the opposite of winning trades? Losing trades, which they have no obligation to correct. I doubt that will be how they approach the issue as it's likely to lose ...

pipmutt replied May 20, 2009Sure you did, I mean let's face it it's not exactly rocket science. It's not a practical solution as no-one can say by how much an erroneous quote will be erroneous, they're not planned in advance they're errors, the clue is in the name

pipmutt replied May 20, 2009Ummm yeah, I'm the one who pointed it out to you that STP brokers can still adjust the price of filled trades (actually it's not just STP brokers, bucketshops can still adjust if it's in the clients favor), fortunately it seems like you understand ...
