PriceVolume replied Sep 25, 2009If it makes you feel any better, the little guy contributes quite a bit (in aggregate). That is - if you allow your stops to get run, adding to the momentum against you! LOL

PriceVolume replied Sep 25, 2009Just a guess, but it looks like it is struggling to complete the H&S pattern on the H4. I'm just not sure it's going to be able to achieve the momentum. Open of the European session should greatly clarify things.....

PriceVolume replied Sep 24, 2009Agreed. Biggest favor that a rookie can do for themselves is to learn money management and to not overleverage. The second biggest is for them to learn to sit on their hands and wait for the perfect setup with confirmation. Also - don't neglect ...

PriceVolume replied Sep 24, 2009If you use EAs....better learn how to build your own. And, make sure you test it demo and then live with a micro account for at least a couple of months.

PriceVolume replied Sep 24, 2009Yep - they're interrelated. EURJPY was also affected. But USD is weaker than EUR currently, thus negative impact is greater on USD in the EURUSD pairing.

PriceVolume replied Sep 24, 2009JPY. Look at USDJPY reaction. Plus.... The EUR/USD managed to hold above yesterday"s 1.4620 low amid talk of an Asian sovereign name buying at the lows. The pairing has bounced back above 1.4650 from a low of 1.4623.

PriceVolume replied Sep 24, 2009Yep. Lots of hesitation starting 6 days ago - now we have a really long upward wick yesterday, taking out the previous day's low - and we've taken out that low today. Not good for the bulls.

PriceVolume replied Sep 24, 2009Just a guess - probably back up to 1.4750, but looks like H&S forming on the 4H.

PriceVolume replied Sep 24, 2009I think we're about to find that out. Seems to be struggling to break 1.4750 (already one rejection), but trend still up - with second run at 1.4750 underway. If it gets rejected and takes out 1.4692, then I think the probability of your scenario ...
