It is not the point in actual volume ( no. of trades or size of all trades). The point is in volume change relative to previous candle ( or cluster of candles) volume.

Only Volume will not help you much. It must be in sync with PA and SR levels for better probability. On Daily it is the best to identify SR area and price stalling- conolidation...and then go down to H4, H1 and M30 for confirmation. image image
